According to the operator of the GTS of Ukraine, the daily pumping of gas from Russia to the EU through the territory of Ukraine is 55.952 million m3 per day. We also learned from open sources that Russia receives daily payments for gas supplies to the EU of about one billion euros.
We are aware that Russia directs part of the money received from the sale of energy resources to the needs of its army. In this regard, we ask you to immediately stop all transit of hydrocarbons from Russia to the EU through Ukraine, namely, to completely close the transportation of gas on the territory of Ukraine for Russia.
We consider that this will cause serious economic damage to the Russian economy, thereby weakening its military capabilities.
